Course Description:
Narrow fairways demand accurate shot placement and water hazards intimidate the golfer at this 18-hole, private course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Desmond Muirhead collaborated with Nicklaus in producing a course designed for tournament-watching and playability. The site of the annual PGA Tour’s Jack Nicklaus Memorial Tournament, the club hosted the 1987 Ryder Cup and 1992 US Amateur. Golf Digest ranked it 16th of America’s 100 Greatest Courses for 1995-96 and 21st for 1997-98.
